Aunt Bertha, the Social Care Network
Aunt Bertha’s network connects people seeking help and verified social care providers that serve them. Find food assistance, help paying bills, and other free or reduced cost programs near you, including new programs for the COVID-19 pandemic
Thousands of nonprofits and social care providers serve their communities. But for most people, navigating the system to get help has been difficult, time consuming, and frustrating. Too many Americans are suffering, and they don’t need to.
So at Aunt Bertha, we created a social care network that connects people and programs — making it easy for people to find social services in their communities, for nonprofits to coordinate their efforts, and for customers to integrate social care into the work they already do.
Hark has helped thousands of Northwest Arkansas residents connect to vital community resources and services in those moments “when life happens”. Hark builds its clients detailed, customized, and confidential resource plans based on its comprehensive, constantly-updated resource map of the region. Hark then follows up to ensure that clients are able to actually connect to the resources they need. And all of Hark’s services are free to the individuals and families it serves. Hark is a division of Excellerate Foundation, a non-profit community foundation serving Northwest Arkansas.
By signing up, a Hark Connector will reach out to you directly within 24 hours. Connectors are not only experts of health and human services, but have direct access to Northwest Arkansas’ most robust map of resources as well as access to multiple financial assistance programs, including their own, Catalyst Fund NWA. Your Connector will build you an individualized client plan consisting of the resources you need. They can even text or email your plan directly to your smart device!
